Food Service Director
The Birchwood School District is looking for a Food Service Director to join our team. The District Food Service Director is responsible for managing every part of the district's Child Nutrition Program (CNP). This role goes beyond just overseeing daily operations — it involves planning, leading, assessing, and improving the program to ensure students get the nutrition they need to support both their health and learning. Collaboration is key, as the Food Service Director works with school staff, district leaders, and community partners to build a strong, well-supported nutrition program. At the heart of it all is a commitment to serving healthy, appealing meals that meet federal, state, and local guidelines. The goal is to create a positive dining experience for students while upholding the highest standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma (or GED) and 3 years of relevant school nutrition program experience.
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification as soon as possible.
• Proficient in mathematics, communication, and computer skills.
• Able to learn quickly and be flexible to change.
Special Education Paraprofessional
The Birchwood Public School District is hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to work one-on-one with a Middle School student. This position is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (29.5 hours per week).
